Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These terms are between Yinon Oved, a sole trader in Israel ("Bellform", "we"), and the teacher, tutor, or course creator who installs the add-on or pays for a plan ("you"). Students who only open a quiz link are not our customers; their teacher is. Contact: support@bellform.app, Holon, Israel.
The seller is a trader for the purpose of European Economic Area consumer disclosures: Bellform is offered in the course of a business.
The service
Bellform is a Google Forms editor add-on and a website. You set time limits. Your students take the quiz on a Bellform page. We submit their answers to your Google Form. The free plan covers one published form. The paid plan covers unlimited forms you publish from the same Google account.
We are not Google. Google Forms, Google Drive, and the Google Workspace Marketplace are services of Google. Their terms apply to your form.
Who may use it
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must be allowed to use the Google account you install the add-on with. If you use Bellform at a school, you are responsible for your school's rules and for having a lawful basis to collect student names and emails.
Do not use Bellform if you cannot lawfully give us the form content and student answers described in the privacy policy.
The add-on and your form
You choose the form. You choose the times. You choose the link you send to students.
You understand these limits, which the product also states in the sidebar:
- Students must use the Bellform link. Anyone who has the original Google Forms link can answer with no timer.
- The form must accept responses and must not require a Google sign-in. Verified email collection will not work, because we cannot sign a student into Google.
- We support multiple choice, checkboxes, short answer, paragraph, dropdown, and linear scale. We do not support grids, file uploads, or branching.
- Students cannot return to a previous question.
- A reload does not reset the server clock. Closing the tab does not pause it. Bellform is not a lockdown browser.
- If a required question is left blank, Google may reject the submission. We keep a backup when that happens. Responses that Google has already accepted stay in your form even if you uninstall Bellform.
Free and paid plans
The free plan is one published form at a time. You can unpublish it and publish a different one. The paid plan is unlimited forms for that Google account, at US $4 per month or US $36 per year, until we change the price with notice for the next renewal. Tax is calculated at checkout.
A paid subscription is personal to the Google account email you give Paddle as teacher_email. Sharing the install token or the account is not allowed.
Paddle, billing, taxes, and refunds
Paid checkout is provided by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates), who is the merchant of record. Paddle — not Bellform — charges the card, calculates VAT or sales tax, and issues the receipt. Paddle's checkout buyer terms apply to the payment: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Confirm that URL before you publish these terms.
We do not store your card number.
Refunds. You may ask for a full refund within 14 days of the first payment on a subscription by emailing support@bellform.app or through Paddle's buyer support. We will not be difficult about a first-month refund. After 14 days, fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it, including where the service has failed for a material period.
Israel. If you are a consumer in Israel, the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, including the rules on distance contracts, may give you a cancellation right (often 14 days, with exceptions once you asked a service to start immediately). Asking us to publish a form and run quizzes is a request to start the service. This sentence does not waive a right that the statute says cannot be waived.
Renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel. Cancel in the Paddle customer portal before the renewal date. Cancellation keeps paid access until the end of the period already paid. We may suspend access if a payment fails and stays failed after Paddle's retries. A short grace period during a past-due payment is a courtesy, not a promise.
We may change prices or features. Price changes apply to the next renewal, and we will say so in the product or by email before they do. If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Bellform. In particular, do not:
- Break into, probe, or overload the service, or try to reset another student's clock.
- Upload form content you have no right to use.
- Use the service to harm a student, to cheat on someone else's exam, or to collect student data you are not allowed to collect.
- Resell access, or hold Bellform out as a Google product.
We may suspend a quiz or an account that breaks these rules. If we can, we will tell you why and let you export a backup first, unless the law or a security incident says otherwise.
Student quizzes
You are responsible for the questions you publish and for telling students that the quiz is timed, that a reload will not give them more time, and that their answers are sent to your Google Form and stored briefly on our server. The privacy policy describes that storage.
Do not rely on Bellform as the only control in a high-stakes exam. It raises the cost of casual cheating. It does not stop a determined student with a second device.
Intellectual property
We own the Bellform software, the site, and the name. You own your forms and your questions. You give us a license to host, display, and transmit the question snapshot and the student answers solely to run the service for you. You can end that license by unpublishing and asking us to delete the account.
You may not copy the service, scrape it to build a competing timer, or remove notices.
Availability and backups
We aim to keep the quiz page up. We do not promise a particular uptime, and the free plan in particular is provided as available. Google or Cloudflare can have outages we do not control. A backup inside Bellform is a convenience if Google rejects a submit. It is not an archive. Export anything you need to keep.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a quiz is fair, that a clock is free of skew of a few seconds, or that Google will accept every submission.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these disclaimers. In those places, they apply only as far as they are allowed to.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost marks, lost class time, or lost profits. Our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us (through Paddle) for Bellform in that period, or fifty US dollars if you only used the free plan.
This cap does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Israeli and other consumer statutes may give you rights this section cannot remove.
Ending the contract
You may stop using Bellform at any time by uninstalling the add-on, unpublishing quizzes, and cancelling Paddle. We may stop offering Bellform by posting notice on the site and emailing the support address we have, with at least 30 days' notice where we reasonably can, and a refund of any prepaid period we will not provide.
Sections that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence where a consumer-protection statute says you may, and we may bring a claim there to recover an unpaid amount.
The English text is the controlling language.
